Robert Kang

Program Assistant

Robert Kang is a Program Assistant at New York University's Center on International Cooperation (CIC), working with the Multilateral Reform program.

Prior to joining CIC, Robert was a researcher on peace operations at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations, where he worked on supporting diplomatic engagements with the UN Secretariat and other permanent missions, focusing on initiatives to strengthen the peace and development nexus and support the secretary-general's reforms and the review of the Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy. He also previously worked with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York on engagement with local governments.

Robert holds a master's degree in International Relations from New York University and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California at San Diego.
