Foluke Adetola Ojelabi is an Atlantic Fellow for Social and Economic Equity (AFSEE) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Visiting Fellow at NYU’s Center on International Cooperation (CIC), as part of a partnership between CIC and LSE.
A social change leader with expertise in strategic insights, planning, monitoring, and reporting, she has worked at both national and global levels for more than 16 years.
Since joining the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in 2016, she has helped drive data-informed decision-making on children’s rights, supported the implementation and monitoring of development programs, and led strategic communications and reporting to advance policy advocacy.
Her expertise in organizational strategy, developed at UNICEF Headquarters, includes integrating media and political listening, fostering cross-divisional alignment, and strengthening performance monitoring. This expertise builds on her experience as a Senior Fellow for Social and Economic Equity with the International Inequalities Institute and the Atlantic Fellowship at LSE.
She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and a Master of International Development Policy (MIDP) from Duke University in the United States. Throughout her career, she has been guided by a commitment to contributing meaningfully to a better world today and for future generations who will inherit what we build now.
