Symphony Chau

Symphony Chau is a Assistant Director, Communications at New York University’s Center on International Cooperation.

Symphony joins CIC from the Center for Active Design, a leading non-profit using design to foster healthy and engaged communities through neighborhoods, housing, and workplace initiatives. During her tenure there she led the organization’s communications and PR/marketing efforts, in addition to advancing the growth of Fitwel, the world’s leading healthy building certification system. Symphony previously has led communications & development initiatives at New York City based non-profit organizations, including the Center for All Abilities in Manhattan’s Chinatown, Zone 126 in Astoria and Long Island City, and Harlem Educational Activities Fund in Harlem. She is an alumnus of NYC Civic Corps, an AmeriCorps program run by NYC Service.

Symphony holds a B.A. in International Relations from American University.
