Joshua Walker, Director of Programs for the Congo Research Group joins Rogers Orock (Department of Anthropology at Wits University) and Achille Mbembe (WISER) for a conversation about mobility, extraction, and circulation focusing on the Congo Basin eco-region of Africa, the world’s second largest rainforest block after the Amazon.

This podcast examines how significant demographic, ecological, political, and economic changes in the region are climate, as well as exploring interactions between human populations and the environments in which they live.
