Theo Aldrighi is a Student Research Assistant at NYU’s Center on International Cooperation (CIC), where he supports the Promoting and Defending Multilateralism program.
He is a final-year undergraduate honors student at NYU studying international relations and economics. His main interests lie in economic development, peacebuilding, and international trade.
Previously, he served as an adviser at the Permanent Mission of Uruguay to the United Nations, where he participated in budget negotiations within the Fifth Committee and contributed to discussions on the Pact for the Future. He was also a fellow in NYU’s 2024 Extremism Examined cohort, where he conducted research on the root causes and long-term effects of extremist movements across different cultural and political contexts.
Having lived in countries including Bosnia, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and Italy, he brings a global perspective to his work, shaped by diverse international experiences.
