Owen Brady is a Graduate Student Researcher at the Center on International Cooperation (CIC) at New York University, where he contributes to the Prevention, Peacebuilding, and Protracted Crises program.
He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration at NYU Wagner, with a focus on anti-poverty initiatives, urban development, and violence prevention.
Before joining CIC, he served as a Program Manager for Community Safety Initiatives at Everytown for Gun Safety for four years. In this role, he led a grant program supporting community violence intervention efforts in cities across America. His responsibilities included government advocacy, movement building, and researching gun violence prevention.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology from the College of New Jersey, where his undergraduate thesis explored civil rights era social movements.
