Laura Stamm is the Grants Administrator at New York University’s Center on International Cooperation (CIC).
Laura has built her career within the nonprofit sector, concentrating on administration, grants, and research. She is passionate about working towards a positive impact and has a specific interest in global development.
Before joining CIC, Laura worked on economic development projects in the Peace Corps in Guatemala. Additionally, she has worked and studied in various other countries, including Spain, Ecuador, and Peru.
Her earlier research focused on environmentally sustainable ways to increase people’s quality of life and she has chapters published in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)’s World Small Hydropower Development Report 2022.
Laura’s commitment to grants administration comes from her interest in effectively allocating resources towards projects striving to solve pressing global issues.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Development from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Baruch College.
