Sustaining Peace in Liberia: The Importance of South-South Cooperation

Liberia is well on the road to recovery, but its transition to sustained peace is far from over. The next phase of peacebuilding is a crucial one. South-South cooperation will play a crucial role to find linkages between peace and development, and to strengthen partnerships with southern development partners who can complement peacebuilding activities.

Watch this new video from Institute for Security Studies (ISS) on the sustaining peace process in Liberia, part of a joint project on peacebuilding responses in Africa implemented by the Institute for Security Studies (ISS), Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), and CIC.

This video was made possible in part by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
