H.E. Ina Hagniningtyas Krisnamurthi is the Special Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs on Economic Diplomacy, Indonesia.
She was previously the Ambassador / Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Nations in New York from 2016-2019. Prior to this, Ms. Krisnamurthi was the Director for ASEAN Economic Cooperation. From May 2013 – June 2014, she was the Director for Trade, Industry, Investment, and Intellectual Property Rights and the Directorate General of Multilateral. She was previously the Deputy Director for EU Affairs, Directorate for Intra Regional Cooperation, Directorate General for America and Europe from 2011 – 2014. She held multiple roles in the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working as the Political Counsellor on European Union affairs at the Embassy of Indonesia in Brussels and as the First Secretary for Information and Social Culture. From 2003-2006, she was the Head of Section for Political and Security Affairs, Bureau of the Minister. She was the Vice Consul / Second Secretary for Information and Social Culture from January 2000 – September 2003. While at the Consulate General of Indonesia in Vancouver from 1995-1997, she was the Head of Section, Directorate of Foreign Information, DG Social, Culture and Information Affairs.
She holds a Masters degree from Griffith University, Brisbane.
