In an interview with ABC News, CIC senior fellow Rina Amiri details important elements to watch for in the new Taliban administration in Afghanistan.
"One way that we can have a measure of trust in the Taliban administration is if it brings in women and civil society, becoming the moderate Taliban that we had hoped for," Amiri told ABC. "A Taliban that has the leadership it has right now, without the inclusion of those factors, is not one the US should not bank on in any way."
