Tens of thousands still missing in Syria

CIC senior fellow Hanny Megally ​was interviewed on RÚV, the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service, about the new report published by the UN Commission of Inquiry on Syria.

"People are taken and punished for expressing themselves, for being in opposition, for having different points of view and so on. It's quite clear. But people are also taken hostage arbitrarily, as a bargaining chip to try to get others to give up or to get money, " Megally told RÚV.
