Taliban Continues Negotiations with U.S. and Afghan Officials
After nearly 18 years—and more than 32,000 civilians killed in the last decade alone—there may be an end in sight for the war in Afghanistan, the longest war in American history.
Representatives from the Taliban and Afghan delegates met today and yesterday with the hopes of beginning conversations that could finally stop the violence that has plagued the country for many years.
