Germany aims for UN Security Council seat

Germany, who wants to shoulder its responsibility of hard work towards peace and justice through international cooperation in an era riddled with crises is trying to return to the UN Security Council in 2019. Nonpermanent members of the council are elected for two years at a time. The lobbying has already begun. CIC Deputy Director, Jim Della-Giacoma, beleives Germany has good chance of winning the vote to become a UN Security Council permanent member.
